Youth fest at DDU varsity

Students of 153 degree colleges affiliated to Gorakhpur University will participate in painting, singing, drama and literary competitions.
Talking to mediapersons, vice-chancellor Prof Arun Kumar said that it was the first time when the students’ union of the university would organise a cultural programme on a large scale and all former office bearers of the university were members of the advisory committee for the programmes.
Prof Kumar expressed hope the programme would bring a change in the cultural and artistic scenario of the university.
He said on the first day, a cultural rally would start from the university. He said students’ union president Rajiv Pandey and vice-president Chetna Pandey were appointed coordinators of the programme.
