Youth killed during RPSF firing exercise

A youth was killed during a routine firing exercise by Railway Protection Security Force (RPSF) at Chandmari range in Bihar's Katihar district, District superintendent of police P Karnan said today.

Karnan said 30 year-old Md Kukhtar was killed when a bullet fired by RPSF missed the target and hit him on Friday.

Mukhtar died on the spot, he said and a FIR was registered against unidentified RPSF men in this connection. Investigation is on.
