On Saturday, LDA Secretary RB Yadav and Property Officer KK Singh deposed before the probe panel and submitted a 26-page reply to the 24 queries posed to them by the Commission in connection with the inquiry. After recording the statement/evidence of the LDA, the Commission headed by Justice (retired) RH Zaidi, whose tenure comes to an end on March 5, 2007, is expected to submit its report in the matter soon to the State Government.
“It will take us another 3-4 days to put the property records in order before the process of executing registries of these properties would commence,” said property officer KK Singh, who escorted the two-truck load of these files back to the LDA. The State Government had constituted the panel last year following controversy over out-of-turn allotment of 28 plots in Vipul Khand to VIPs.
