A quirky comedy, actually a rather unusual tale from the Netherlands of the relationship between three sisters and their only brother, who they thought was gay.

When he unexpectedly announces his engagement to his girlfriend, the sisters are in a quandary. Since he stands to inherit their family's Portuguese beach hotel if he goes through with the marriage, it could mean a quick end of dreams of the sisters.

The sisters are determined not to let that happen. The sisters begin plotting in earnest to keep the marriage from taking place, even as each one discovers how hard it is to keep their lives in place.
