Former MP minister Narendra Nahta resigns from Congress

Former state minister and senior Congress leader Narendra Nahta resigned from the primary membership of the party on Friday. Nahta said he was not satisfied with the way the Congress party works.

Former state minister and senior Congress leader Narendra Nahta resigned from the primary membership of the party on Friday.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Nahta, who was a minister in the Digvijay Singh government, said he was not satisfied with the way the Congress party works. He denied that he is joining BJP. "As for now, I have no such plan," he told HT.

Nahta said he has sent his resignation to Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Arun Yadav and also to the Congress general secretary in-charge of MP Mohan Prakash.
