Indore: CM to present river cleanup project to Centre

A project of Rs 2,720 crore for cleaning up of Khan river that passes right through middle of Indore city, will be taken to the centre.The project would be completed in five years.

A project of Rs 2,720 crore for cleaning up of Khan river that passes right through middle of Indore city, will be taken to the centre.

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will present this project in Delhi on Wednesday.

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and union ministers would be part of a meeting to be held on Khan river Cleaning Project, a release said.

Before leaving for New Delhi, the CM reviewed the proposed cleanup project. He said work on the project would be completed in five years after sanction of the project.
