According to information from Aerodrum police station, the victim, who studies in class 5 along with the younger sister of the accused, went to their home to study. Since both the families know each other, the girl’s parents requested the parents of the accused to let their daughter stay at their home in the night as they had to go somewhere. Meanwhile, finding no one at home, the accused outraged the girl’s modesty.

The next morning, the victim narrated the incident to her mother. However, as the victim’s father was not at the home, she decided to keep quiet till her husband returned from tour.

On Wednesday, when the victim’s father returned home, the mother narrated the incident to him and they subsequently lodged an FIR.

According to Aerodrome police station in-charge Kanahiya Lal Dangi, the teenager has been booked for sexual assault under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code as well as provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
