Dagariya was present with the CBI officials when they seized articles like laptop, mobile phone, CDs, camera from the residence of the prime accused in the case Zahida Parvez.

The CBI officials are of the opinion that the 12 articles they had seized from Parvez's residence could prove to be crucial in solving many unanswered questions. CBI produced the seized articles before the court, and Dagariya answered in affirmative that the seizure was done before him.

However, defense advocate Sunil Shrivastava raised questions on protocol followed by CBI officials before performing the seizure of the articles. Shrivastava is defense counsel for Saba Farooqui, who is the co-accused in the murder case.

The advocate pointed out that no notice was issued to Dagariya before performing the seizure of the articles. Dagariya admitted in court that he was not issued any notice from CBI before performing the seizure, and that he only followed orders of his senior at the Bank. The next hearing in the matter is scheduled for January 9.
