During the Zero Hour, the Newai legislator alleged that neither the station house officer (SHO) nor the superintendent of police (SP) of Tonk had listened or sympathised with the 17-year-old.
The girl was allegedly molested by her school principal a few days back and when her family members approached the SP, the officer said that she had no time for them, the MLA alleged.
Opposition Congress joined Raigar and said that the government has failed in stopping atrocities against Dalits. Raigar said the police did not take any action after filing an FIR.
The Newai MLA informed the house that the incident took place on January 31 and the FIR was lodged on February 3.
Congress MLA Manoj Nyangali demanded a probe while another Congress MLA Govind Singh Dotasara said that Dalit atrocities are increasing in the state and the law and order situation has deteriorated. This created an uproar for sometime in the house.
