Police said an unidentified person had prepared a fake account and uploaded the picture, accompanied by an unpleasant comment.

The police imposed prohibitory orders in Dungarpur and Udaipur till Wednesday.

In the morning, a large crowd gathered outside the Dungarpur district collectorate and submitted a memorandum seeking action against the person who had uploaded the material.

“The agitators were returning when they clashed with a tribal youngster. The clash was followed by a rampage in which shops and vehicles were damaged,” an eyewitness said.

The police resorted to baton charge. Dungarpur SP Don K Jose said 13 people had been arrested.
