Aishwarya Rai wins Cannes with another gorgeous look in blush pink gown: 'Her stylist finally understood the assignment'
For her 2nd Cannes look, Aishwarya Rai donned a stunning blush-pink gown with a sheer cape. Her look featured minimal accessories and a fresh burgundy hairdo.
Waist snatched, arms out, and bye-bye side parting! It seems like Aishwarya Rai is finally serving what her fans wanted. As the Queen of Cannes returned to the French Riviera, she walked the red carpet in a stunning, sculptural blue gown by Amit Aggarwal. But she did not stop there! The actor is back with another winning look as she attended a L'Oréal event.

On May 23, Aishwarya Rai stepped out in the French Riviera late at night to attend an event hosted by L'Oréal with her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. For her look number 2, she wore a blush-hued gown with a cinched waist, some fine draping on the bodice and a long, sheer cape. Let's decode the look:
Aishwarya Rai's look number 2 is a clear winner
Aishwarya wore a blush-pink gown with a cape and bejewelled flowers from the Azerbaijan-based luxury fashion house, Sophie Couture. According to the brand's official website, Aish's dress is available online and is worth a whopping USD 3700, which is approximately Es 3,54,163.
Coming to the design elements, the romantic baby-pink look features a heart-shaped silhouette and is crafted from silk chiffon. The fitted dress is beautifully draped on the bodice and adorned with bejewelled flower brooches. It’s complemented by a beautiful, romantic blush pink transparent chiffon cape, adding an extra touch of elegance and charm.
The sweetheart neckline, a bejewelled brooch that holds the drape at the neck, the flowy pleated skirt, a floor-sweeping train at the back, and a figure-snatching silhouette round out the design elements that give the gown a feminine beauty.
The styling and the jewels
Celebrity stylist Mohit Rai dressed Aishwarya for the occasion. The actor and the stylist chose to keep the accessories minimal to let the blush-pink gown be the star of the show. They opted for statement diamond rings worn on both hands, dangling diamond-encrusted earrings, and heels.
Meanwhile, leaving the centre parting far behind, this time, Aishwarya gave her tresses a fresh spin by dyeing them a burgundy shade and styling them in a side parting with soft blowout waves. Lastly, for the glam, she chose shimmery eye shadow, winged eyeliner, mascara-coated lashes, feathered brows, glossy pink lip shade, rouge-tinted cheeks, and beaming highlighter.
What does the internet have to say?
Fans loved Aish's second look at Cannes. Someone commented, “The Queen has finally arrived.” One Instagram user praised her stylist and wrote, “Her stylist finally understood the assignment. This is the Aishwarya we’ve been waiting for.”
Internet fashion watchdog, Diet Sabya commented, “Here to save Cannes from becoming Chandivali Film Festival is a new and confident (we’ve prayed for days like these) ARB. Giving waist-snatched, arms out, and almost a hint of an ear. No, you aren’t dreaming at all. The children are FED today.”
