Samantha Ruth Prabhu dropped new pictures from a photoshoot on Instagram today that showed her in a sultry cut-out top and flared pants. The star championed colour block fashion for summer in the ensemble.

When it comes to fashion, summer is all about playing with bright colours that embrace the fresh and playful vibes of the season. One can do the same by incorporating colour blocking elements into their wardrobe. Combining two shades from the same family, a brighter and a lighter hue, is one way to slay the sartorial statement. And going by her latest Instagram post, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is championing this style trend like a total fashionista and proving it is the perfect look for the warmer weather. We are in love with every bit of this fashion moment.

On Tuesday, Samantha dropped new pictures from a photoshoot that showed her embracing the colour blocking sartorial statement. They showed the star dressed in a bright red top and light pink pants. She captioned the post, "'Twas some day [tea and fire emoji]." Samantha's outfit is from the shelves of clothing label The Attico, and celebrity stylist Lakshmi Lehr styled her look. Samantha chose a trendy fit to slay the photoshoot. Her bodysuit top comes in a bright red shade and features ribbed details through the torso and sleeves, a keyhole cut-out on the front, knotted neckline flaunting her décolletage, long sleeves and a figure-hugging silhouette.

Samantha tucked the bodysuit elegantly inside the baby pink pants. It features a high-rise waistline, a fitted top extending to form a flared bottom, and a floor-grazing hem length. The star picked gold-toned jewels to accessorise the colour-blocked look. She went for hoop earrings and statement rings. In the end, Samantha chose black winged eyeliner, mascara on the lashes, filled-in brows, subtle shimmery eye shadow, glowing skin, blushed cheeks, light pink lip shade, beaming highlighter and sharp contouring for the glam picks. Centre-parted and voluminous open tresses with wavy ends rounded off Samantha's look.

Meanwhile, Samantha has several projects in the pipeline, including Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda, an upcoming multilingual mythological drama Shaakuntalam and a Telugu film Yashoda.
