Mayawati welcomes SC verdict

Former chief minister and BSP president Mayawati, welcoming the Supreme Court verdict in disproportionate assets (DA) case, said her position had been vindicated in the matter.

Former chief minister and BSP president Mayawati, welcoming the Supreme Court verdict in disproportionate assets (DA) case, said her position had been vindicated in the matter. Mayawati said that she was victim of political vendetta during the last nine years over the case.

Talking to journalists in Lucknow she said in Taj corridor and DA case the court had given big relief to her. Mayawati also thanked cousels Harish Salve and SC Mishra, who is also BSP MP and general secretary.



Mayawati said during the last nine years the party workers were solidly behind her. She said during this long period the workers never got agitated over the issue and supporter her. Mayawati said right from the beginning she had maintained that the CBI case was politically motivated.
