The UP assembly on Monday witnessed stormy scenes with members of the major opposition parties stalling its proceedings and blaming the state government, run by the SP, for the violence in Muzaffarnagar.
“Panchayats are being blamed for the failure of the state government” is a slogan opposition members raised as the House was adjourned till Wednesday.
However, the opposition was not united. The BJP blamed the BSP and the Congress also.
