The Joker, Deadpool, Minions: Cosplayers shine at Delhi Comic Con 2016
This year’s Comic Con had a cosplay army like never before.
Gandalfs clicked seflies, the Jokers scared a bunch, and Deadpool was a complete mischief maker. Superhero or not, this year’s Delhi Comic Con saw fans from Delhi throng to the NSIC grounds for the 6th edition of the convention. This year, Deadpool and Joker were the popular choices. “I have always been a fan of the Joker, and the new Jared Leto look is my favourite,” said Dhananjay Singh, a student of Delhi University.
American freelance humorous illustrator and cartoonist Tom Richmond was equally excited. “Comic Con Delhi is fantastic. What a great, enthusiastic crowd! I am so overwhelmed with the love from fans,” he said.
Stuti Goyal, a student of Jesus and Mary college, who was dressed as a minion seemed the most excited. “This is my first Comic Con and it was great.I loved the vibe. I’ve always adored the minion character and this was the best opportunity to dress up as one, so why not?”

We also caught up with comedian Gaurav Gera, who was dressed up as Shopkeeper, a famous character he plays on his YouTube channel. “It is great to be here, the energy and vibe is just amazing. I met a lot of fans who love my characters and got clicked with them too,” he said.
