Bombay high court gets 14 new additional judges

Mumbai city news: Of the 14 new judges, five will serve on the principal bench in Mumbai.

Fourteen new additional judges were sworn in at the Bombay high court on Monday, taking the working strength of judges to 75. The sanctioned strength of judges in the Bombay high court is 90.

The new judges were administered the oath by Chief Justice of Bombay HC Manjula Chellur. Of the 14 new judges, five will serve on the principal bench in Mumbai.

The Nagpur and Aurangabad benches will each get four new judges, and the Goa bench will have one.

The new judges also include two women judges Vibha Kankanwadi, and Bharti Dangre.law,
