Doctors at Lilavati Hospital, Bandra, where 93-year-old thespian Dilip Kumar has been admitted since Tuesday morning, said he has developed deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in his left leg. DVT is a condition wherein blood clots form in one or more veins in the body.

“We administered medicine called Heparin, the night he was admitted. He has responded well and is on a wheelchair,, “said a doctor from the hospital.
