Mumbai man falls off train footboard, loses legs on first day of job
Mumbai city news: The victim was identified as Bibin Wilfred David,24, a Diva resident.
A 24-year-old man who was on his way to his first day of work at Airoli lost both the legs after he slipped off the train footboard near Thane railway station.

The victim was identified as Bibin Wilfred David,24, a Diva resident.
“David was heading to Thane when he slipped and fell down. His legs got caught in the wheels. We were alerted by a station master. He was taken to the Thane civil hospital", said a police officer from Thane GRP.
Diana Pinto, David’s sister-in-law, said,"It was his first day of job. He was happy about the job. He left four trains because they were overcrowded.”
A police constable from Thane GRP said,”We have taken the statement of his family members. David lost his legs. He was initially taken to Thane civil hospital but was later shifted to Sion hospital.”
