Police book seven for firing at pre-wedding near Mumbai
Mumbai city news: Akash Bhoir, Parshura Salvi and five other accused are Dombivli residents.
Seven people were booked for firing in a pre-wedding function at a village in Dombivli on Wednesday.

The wedding party were celebrating and dancing at Adivli village in Dombivli around midnight, when one of the accused pushed a woman. A few relatives got angry and started arguing, which soon led to them breaking the windows of the accused’s vehicles.
“The woman got back home and later in the night, the seven men went to her house and fired once. She also alleged that the accused abused her and asked her to open the door,” said officer Bajrang Zende from Manpada police station.
“We are looking for the accused but no one has been arrested yet. We only have the allegations, but did not find any bullet shell. We have booked seven people under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code”.
