MNS chief Raj Thackeray meets yoga guru Ramdev at his Mumbai home
Although the meeting was termed a “courtesy visit”, it has managed to raise a few eyebrows in the political circles
Yoga guru Ramdev met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray at his home in Mumbai on Wednesday morning in Mumbai.

Although the meeting was termed a “courtesy visit”, it has managed to raise a few eyebrows in the political circles.
“It was great meeting Baba Ramdev. He is the biggest global evangelist of Hindu traditions of Yoga and Ayurveda that India has seen,” Thackeray told the media later.

Baba Ramdev’s ties with the Bharatiya Janata Party are well known.
Given the ties between the BJP and Shiv Sena have hit rock-bottom, it is being speculated the visit may have something to do with politics. However, sources close to Thackeray said it was a courtesy visit.
