MUMBAI: The Amboli police are probing two related cases of assault where a restaurant owner and two of his employees beat up a customer early on Tuesday. In retaliation, the customer’s relative thrashed the owner’s aides. No arrests have been made yet.

According to the police, Lalbahadur Yadav, 22, and Abhishek Yadav, 20, were beaten up at the White room restaurant and bar located in Andheri (west) by its owner Rahul Sachdeva and his aides. The police have also booked Lalbahadur’s brother Rambahadur Yadav, 23, and his friends for beating up Sachdeva’s employees.

Commenting on the case, senior inspector Bharat Gaikwad said from Amboli police station said, “We have registered cases against both parties and will take appropriate action.”
