MUMBAI: The Vashi government railway police (GRP) found two unidentified bodies lying in a nullah along the railway track between Rabale and Airoli railway stations
MUMBAI: The Vashi government railway police (GRP) found two unidentified bodies lying in a nullah along the railway track between Rabale and Airoli railway stations on Tuesday morning. The deceased were around 25 to 27 years of age.

Initial medical reports have revealed that the duo died due to head injuries.
The police suspect that they fell off a train while travelling on the trans-harbour line on Monday night.
Around 9.45am, the police control room received a call about the bodies lying in a nullah. Officials from Vashi GRP reached the spot and sent the bodies for a post-mortem to Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) Hospital in Vashi.
Till Tuesday evening, the identity of the deceased could not be established.
Even though the police have retrieved an Aadhaar card from one of the bodies, the photo on the card does not match with any of the bodies.
The Aadhaar card was allotted to a Jagat Singh Jaikishan Singh from Govandi. When the police enquired at the address, they found out that Singh had left the place some time ago.
According to the police, the duo could have been drug addicts as they found an earthen pipe near them which is usually used to smoke ganja and other drugs.
“It appears that the men were under the influence of marijuana and lost their grip while travelling in a train. We are, however, exploring other angles in the case,” said an on duty police official from GRP, Vashi.
