The 21-inch cannon is made of ashtadhatu (eight metals), Palsingh claimed, and weighs around 25kg.
Palsingh said his family had to surrender arms after privy purses were abolished in 1971. Only one cannon was left behind, which he decided to sell in Mumbai, when he came to the city for his son’s treatment.
