9 Bangladeshis found during raid at wadala

The Wadala TT police, under the supervision of zonal deputy commissioner of police, conducted a raid on Saturday in the slum pockets of Wadala and arrested nine Bangladeshi nationals.

The Wadala TT police, under the supervision of zonal deputy commissioner of police, conducted a raid on Saturday in the slum pockets of Wadala and arrested nine Bangladeshi nationals.

The officials conducted the combing operation following a tip-off that people were staying there illegally in MHADA transit camp and neighbouring slum pockets in Wadala TT.

Nagesh Jadhav, senior inspector of Wadala TT police, said, “After verification it was found that two men and seven women were Bangladeshi nationals living illegally in the city.”
