Anna Hazare threatens agitation

Social worker Anna Hazare has threatened to launch a state-wide agitation if politicians with corruption charges are included in the cabinet of the new government. HT Correspondent reports.

Social worker Anna Hazare has threatened to launch a state-wide agitation if politicians with corruption charges are included in the cabinet of the new government.

“I have told my activists to be ready for an agitation if corrupt politicians are included in the cabinet,” Anna Hazare said.

Hazare has specifically pointed out NCP leaders like Nawab Malik and Vijay Kumar Gavit who are front-runners for inclusion in the state cabinet.

Hazare has previously made NCP member Suresh Jain who joined the Sena and NCP’s Nawab Malik, resign form their posts, when he launched an agitation against them.

Hazare’s detractors however claim that he specifically targets members of the NCP and demanding the non-inclusion of elected members is not fair.
