Bandra Feast begins today

Popularly known as the Bandra Feast, the event commemorates the birth of Mother Mary, which entails thanksgiving prayers and a feast mass.

The feast is a prelude to the week-long Bandra fair, which is all set to begin on Sunday, September 11. “Despite the recent tussle between the hawkers and local residents, fortunately, the festive spirit has not dampened,” said Cynthia Fernandes, 50, a resident of Bandra.
