Bikers die in JJ flyover mishap

Two youths died after they lost control of their brand new Yamaha R15 sports bike on the JJ flyover on Sunday and crashed into a taxi coming from the opposite direction.

The Pydhonie police said the duo were on their way to a birthday party in Colaba and were travelling atop the flyover, even though two-wheelers are banned on it.

The police have registered a case of accidental death and have handed over the bodies to the family.

Dipesh Rawal, 20 and Bhavin Jain,19, were speeding at more than 100 kmph at around 8pm to reach their friend’s residence when they met with the accident.
