There are many schools and colleges located on this road, which also connects Central Mumbai with Girgaum and Charni Road.

Asfar Khan (22), a biker who regularly uses the road, said, “Many bike riders fall because of the potholes.” Added Shahid Sheikh, a motorist, “Our vehicles also get damaged; wheel alignment and suspension problems are common.”
