Corporators from the MNS marched to the Municipal Commissioner Swadheen Kshatriyas cabin with a tub full of silt on Monday. Mangesh Sangle, leader of the house (MNS), said all the civic body’s claims about having completed 95 per cent work of desilting work were false. “The contractors have only removed floating material and have not desilted the drains,” said Sangle.

“If you point out to us which nullahs are not clean we will ask the contractors to clean it again,” said Kshatriya.
