Godfrey Pimenta, an activist from Watchdog Foundation, Bandra, has written to the chief minister and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to remove the unattended debris from the site, as it is blocking the road leading to Mount Mary Church.

“The parapet wall was demolished, but the debris is still lying strewn outside the bungalow blocking the road,” the letter stated.

A complaint was also made against the encroachment blocking the road.

After repeated complaints from local residents and following a letter from member of parliament Poonam Mahajan to remove the ramp outside the bungalow, BMC had demolished it in February.

The BMC had thereafter also recovered Rs 1.93 lakh from the actor, as the cost of demolition, and the road was resurfaced by the civic body.

Local residents had complained about the ramp as it was an obstruction.

The actor used to park his vanity van on the ramp.

The ramp was also a nuisance, especially during the annual Bandra fair that is held every September, the residents had complained then.

Calls to the H-West ward office went unanswered.
