A fire broke out in a shoe showroom in Central Mumbai on Monday, fire brigade officials said.

The blaze broke out at the Dadar showroom of Bata on Babasaheb Ambedkar Road around 1100 hours following which four fire engines, two water tankers and an ambulance were rushed to the spot, they said.

There were no causalities in the incident, the officials said.

The cause of fire and the extent of damage is yet to be ascertained.
