Adhishree moved the court on Tuesday after the school authorities refused to take her back despite an order from the state education department.

School trustee Rustom Kerawalla filed an affidavit on Wednesday stating that Adhishree’s mother Avisha Kulkarni (45) has been “vitiating the school’s harmony and atmosphere from the last two years” and has endangered the safety and welfare of 1700 other children studying at the school.
