LBT fight rages, traders block traffic at CST
Taking their agitation against the implementation of local body tax (LBT) a step ahead, agitated traders took to the streets on Thursday. Protesters, who occupied the roads near Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, paralysed traffic in the area from noon to 3pm.

Taking their agitation against the implementation of local body tax (LBT) a step ahead, agitated traders took to the streets on Thursday. Protesters, who occupied the roads near Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, paralysed traffic in the area from noon to 3pm.
After being unable to control the crowd for three hours, the police were forced to lathi-charge protesters to ease traffic. The protest also saw workers from rival parties join the traders’ fight.
