Missing 8-yr-old’s body found; killed by uncle in Airoli
The eight-year-old girl, who went missing from Airoli on Monday, was murdered by her uncle. Franshela Vaz’s body was found on Ghodbunder Road in Thane on Friday.

The eight-year-old girl, who went missing from Airoli on Monday, was murdered by her uncle. Franshela Vaz’s body was found on Ghodbunder Road in Thane on Friday.
The police said the Class 3 student was dropped off at her building by the school bus. Her uncle, Clarence Fonseca, knew her mother Sherly can’t wait downstairs as she underwent a surgery. He told the child Sherly was at his house and asked her to get into his car.
“He then strangled the girl and dumped her body,” said Prabhat Ranjan, police commissioner of Navi Mumbai.
