The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Saturday submitted a complaint to the police against a magazine, seeking criminal action against them.
MNS leader Bala Nandgaonkar submitted an application to the Shivaji Park police station in Dadar around 7pm, seeking a case against the magazine for allegedly using derogatory language against Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray, and for fuelling anger between two communities by equating Thackeray to a terrorist.
In the four-page application, MNS sought an FIR against the magazine’s reporter. The police said they have received the complaint and will take further action after studying it.
