A motley group of 45 enthusiasts hit the roads on Saturday for a special No TV Day run organised by Bombay Hash Harriers.

“We had participants aged 10 to 70,” said organiser Ketki Shah. The 7.5km run started at the Parsi gymkhana, Marine Lines, and passed Metro cinema, Mantralaya and Oval Maidan, before returning to the gymkhana.
“It was basically non-competitive running, which meant that some people just chose to walk while others took to jogging and sprinting,” said Shah.
Sion resident Arnab Mitra, 30, an advertising professional, decided to run. “I always wanted to participate in these runs and walks but never got down to actually doing it due to a lack of time. No TV Day pushed me to take on something I had been putting off for so long.”
