Dossa, in his complaint, has alleged that in spite of the court order to shift him from Thane jail to Arthur Road jail, jail authorities haven’t done so.

Designated Judge AV Sanap had on Friday directed jail authorities to shift Dossa from Thane jail to Arthur Road jail. In his application in court, Dossa had stated that he was suffering from various ailments and was receiving treatment at the government-run JJ Hospital.

Hence, it was very difficult for him to travel from Thane to Mumbai while sitting for nearly two hours in the police van.

Rizwan Merchant, advocate for Dossa, confirmed the filing of the complaint and said that Dossa had moved the complaint when jail authorities refused to transfer him from Thane jail to Arthur Road jail.
