No food fest at Shivaji Park
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Thursday, was refused permission by Bombay HC to organise a “Marathi Food Festival” at Shivaji Park from May 3 to 10.

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Thursday, was refused permission by Bombay HC to organise a “Marathi Food Festival” at Shivaji Park from May 3 to 10.
A division bench of chief justice Mohit Shah and justice NM Jamdar observed that if permission was granted then the ground would not be available for sports activities.
The MNS had moved the HC challenging an order passed by BMC refusing to grant permission to conduct the festival at Shivaji Park on the ground that it is a silence zone.
