The three-member committee appointed by the university on Wednesday night and headed by ST Gadade, CKT College principal, was waiting for all question paper bundles to be returned from exam centres to the university at the time of going to press. Gadade said they would have definite leads over the next two days. The university had asked exam centre chief conductors to return the unopened, old question paper sets they had already received on Wednesday to ascertain whether any of them had been tampered with. Following a tip-off of a possible paper leak, the university had replaced the question paper set and instructed centres not to open the old set. The university in the meantime, lodged a complaint against unknown persons on Thursday at Azad Maidan police station for the paper leak.
