“New Year's Eve is an opportunity to take some time out with my wife and experience a good show," said Singh, a Santacruz resident, who chose the same venue last year to watch actor Bipasha Basu perform.

With just three days to go for the big night, people with indulgent budgets are still in no hurry to book passes. “I enjoy going for a party all by myself and socialising with new people. For New Year’s, I usually keep a budget of

Rs 40,000,” said Hussain Koolar, a commercial pilot from Bandra.
