“For the past 13 years, these people have been fighting for justice. I am very happy that the MIDC has sanctioned the rehabilitation package of Rs. 30 crore. Our basic demand for the government to give a special rehabilitation package has been accepted,” said MLA Kishan Kathore.
According to the sanctioned package, each affected family will get at least Rs. 4 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh more as compensation to the value of their land and houses.
