Sena slams MMRDA
The Shiv Sena on Saturday took objection to MMRDA’s Mumbai Metro project and said the project was a mere eyewash and a burden on the city.

The Shiv Sena on Saturday took objection to MMRDA’s Mumbai Metro project and said the project was a mere eyewash and a burden on the city.
“How is that all the MMRDA projects have overshot their deadlines and cost has been inflated and that the state government is quiet on it? The MMRDA claims that the Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro will be complete by December, but a reality check on the construction would tell you that just 10 per cent of the work on it is complete,” Sena MLA Subhash Desai said.
The Sena has published a booklet on how the Metro project has been handled by the MMRDA.
