This time, she will address a rally of the party workers at Sewagram in Wardha district, where Mahatma Gandhi stayed before Independence. Gandhi is also likely to visit the neighbouring Pavnar village where Indira Gandhi’s guru, Vinobha Bhave, spent his life.
Gandhi’s rally will conclude the state Congress’s Sadbhavana — Gram Te Sewagram (Good wishes — from villages to Sewagram) programme.
Two lakh party workers are expected to reach the town, 70km south of Nagpur.
The programme was earlier scheduled on October 2, but was postponed in view of the Ayodhya verdict.
