Three killed, 15 hurt in bus-car collision on Mumbai-Agra national highway

Three persons were killed and 15 others injured in a head-on-collision between a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus and a car on the Mumbai-Agra national highway on Monday, police said.

Three persons were killed and 15 others injured in a head-on-collision between a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus and a car on the Mumbai-Agra national highway on Monday, police said.

The mishap took place around 2.45am on Monday in Ojhar-shivar near Khanderao temple near Nashik, they said.

The accident occurred when the bus was proceeding to Nandurbar and a car coming from opposite direction dashed into it killing three occupants of the car.

15 bus passengers were injured in the accident and were admitted to Nashik civil hospital.

Two of the deceased were identified as Sumaiyya Sheikh (35) and Amit Mohmed Sheikh (40), police said.
