There were two wall collapse incidents reported in the city on Friday due to heavy rains.

In the first incident at Jogeshwari, the wall of Ujwala Howal’s (29) house collapsed at 11.05 am, injuring her. Howal was taken to Cooper hospital and later released after treatment.

In the second wall collapse incident at Bhatwadi slums in Ghatkopar at 1.29 pm, no one was injured.

There were also cases of uprooted trees reported from at least 10 spots in the island city and suburbs.

An embankment adjoining the rail link sunk along the Konkan Railways at Nivsar station in Sindhudurg, leading to disruption of several train services.
