Police have so far recorded the statements of the model's family members, friends, 'boyfriend' Vora and her ex-boyfriend Kartik Jobanputra, who is a businessman, in a bid to ascertain the reason that triggered her to allegedly commit suicide.

However, they are still to come to a conclusion, a senior police official said on condition of anonymity.

"We want to call Gautam for questioning again soon. It would help us to connect the missing dots and come to a right conclusion," the official said.

The official said there was no substantial evidence to charge Vora with abetment to suicide of the model and a mere line that 'you killed me Gautam' in Babajee's diary was not enough to say he was the reason for her suicide.

When contacted Vora's lawyer Rajendra Sorankar said, "Vora had fully co-operated with police when he was called for questioning earlier. He would continue to co-operate with them in case he is asked to appear before them."

37-year-old Babajee, former Miss Mauritius, was found hanging from the ceiling at her Continental Towers flat in suburban Bandra on June 25, police said.
