Vodafone launches unlimited SMS offer in Mumbai

Leading cellular services provider Vodafone Essar launched an unlimited SMS offer for its prepaid and postpaid customers in Mumbai on Tuesday.

With this, Vodafone prepaid customers can now avail 500 free local or national SMS daily with a bonus card of Rs 89 with a validity of 30 days, a press release said.

To activate the offer, prepaid customers can SMS ACT SMS 89 to 144 (toll free) from their mobile phones. First SMS of the day will be charged at Rs 1 and thereafter the customer can send up to 499 SMS free, the release said.

Vodafone postpaid customers in Mumbai can enjoy 15,000 SMS anywhere in India per billing cycle for Rs 149. Customers can activate the offer by sending SMS to activate the offer, customers can SMS ACT SMS 149 to 111 (toll free) from their Vodafone mobile phones, the release said.

Vodafone Essar is a subsidiary of Vodafone Group and has operations across the country with over 88.60 million customers.
