Watchman held with stolen laptops, cash

Only recently, she returned home to find her laptops, camera and cash missing.

On Sunday, the watchman was arrested from his hometown in Uttar Pradesh, where he had fled after stealing the goods.

The watchman, Mohan Yadav (35) had been employed only a couple of months ago, but had managed to garner the trust of the residents.

“In November, he seized the opportunity and entered Gupta’s house and lifted her laptops, a camera and some cash,” said Senior Police Inspector Rajdoot Rupawate.

“We have recovered both the laptops as he was unable to sell them.”
