Water cuts in city on May 7, 8
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has planned to impose a 20% water cut throughout the city on May 7 and 8.

But, for the residents of some parts of the eastern suburbs, the news is worse — it will be 100% water cut on these days.
Residents of Nahur (East), Bhandup (East), Kanjurmarg (East) and Vikhroli (East) will have a 100% water cut. Wards M East, M West, N and T will have a 40% cut.
“Residents on higher floors and those residing at the fag end of the supply system will be affected because of the low pressure,” said the BMC.
The civic body will carry out work on connecting the new 3,000 mm diameter water pipeline to the existing trunk main along the eastern express highway from Airoli junction to Kannamwar Nagar, Vikhroli, on May 7 and 8.
