AR Rahman’s son makes Telugu singing debut in Nirmala Convent
AR Ameen, son of double Oscar-winning music composer has sung a song in Telugu for the film Nirmala Convent. He also sang for OK Kanmani in 2015.
Music composer AR Rahman’s son AR Ameen has made his singing debut in Telugu for the film Nirmala Convent. He also sang to his father’s music in last year’s Tamil hit O Kadhal Kanmani, directed by Mani Ratnam.

“Ameen has crooned a song for the film’s protagonist Roshan. It’s lovely and it has come out very well. The makers are very happy,” said a source from the film’s unit. Directed by GK Mohan, the film marks the debut of Telugu actor Srikanth’s teenage son Roshan. The film is produced by actor Nagarjuna.
The song Maula Wa Sallim from O Kadhal Kanmani was a prayer in Arabic and is pure magic.
